Do not bake your skates in a regular oven.

Since different models and brands vary in both materials and features, we strongly recommend that you do not bake a new pair of skates in a regular home oven—especially if they are brand new. There’s a risk that the skates may lose their structure or even break. The warranty on skates will not apply if they have been heated in a home oven. Skates should be heated in a dedicated skate oven.
